Muira and MWR Extend Partnership

News

On the back of the collaboration and partnership that exposed and corrected opportunities for attack in mPOS devices, Miura and MWR InfoSecurity have today agreed to extend their existing partnership to continue to improve security ahead of the current industry requirements.

MWR’s Managing Director, Ian Shaw said “We have long been aware that Miura takes the security of its products very seriously and we have always been impressed with the company’s diligence in addressing any vulnerabilities found. We believe that Miura’s dedication to addressing security throughout the product development lifecycle and in the face of arising threats will produce an industry leading secure platform”.

Andrew Hodges, Miura’s CTO commented “Both Miura and MWR strive to look beyond the boundaries of current security profiles and attacks. By working with MWR’s expert team we can ensure that all our devices continue to stay at the vanguard of payment card data protection, beyond current mandated standards”.
