Press Release

CBEST clarification statement – MWR

On Wednesday 11th June 2014, MWR InfoSecurity issued a press release that was unintentionally misleading. The title of the release was incorrect and we would like to clarify that the Bank of England have in no way officially approved MWR as part of the CBEST process. We would also like to clarify that whilst we have been conducting objective orientated security testing within the financial industry for four years, this has never been in conjunction with Threat Intelligence.

MWR would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight and apologises to the Bank of England for any confusion the press release has caused.
