Topic: Smart Grid Technology Adoption in Singapore and the Implications of Cyber Security

Description:

Modernization of power grid systems has provided us with a variety of benefits in terms of stable, efficient grid operations. However, at the same time, recent years there are a number of real cybersecurity threats targeting smart grid systems, such as the incident in Ukraine, in which the control center system was hacked and manipulated to disturb the electricity services. In this panel session, we invite industry experts from power industry as well as cyber security firms to share professional opinion about the emerging security threats against smart grid systems and further discusses the readiness of Singapore's critical infrastructure against such threats.
