MWR is pleased to be Silver sponsors at the first ever DevSecCon, a specialist conference for DevOps and SecOps practitioners.

As a company we invest heavily in knowledge sharing and believe that events such as DevSecCon are invaluable to the community, providing a platform for discussion on the latest thinking and research in the InfoSec arena.

MWR is pleased to be the Silver Sponsors of DevSecCon, where we will be offering a security workshop, a lightening talk and also hosting the evening drinks reception.

Event Description

DevSecCon is a newly formed, non-profit conference for DevOps and SecOps practitioners, run by practitioners. By creating a neutral platform, we will exchange and create new ideas on how to leverage the best of both worlds.

During a series of lightning talks by cutting edge practitioners you will find out how DevSecOps can drive the business and how to apply these solutions to your own work.

Immerse yourself in the DevSecOps’ ecosystem with like-minded practitioners and get together during complimentary breakfast, lunch and drinks reception.

Through your feedback during the day we will create open space and break out sessions to follow up on interesting ideas. In parallel, key sponsors will run workshops to inform you about the latest DevSecOps technologies and innovations.

Workshops presented by MWR

Topic: Android Security Within the Development Lifecycle

Speakers: Jahmel Harris and Luke Drakeford

The workshop will aim to provide an insight into common security flaws seen in Android applications, and offer a view toward automation methods which may be used to prevent vulnerabilities going to market.
