MWR is pleased to announce that we're sponsoring the CIFI Security Summit in Hong Kong and running a presentation on the day. We'll also be exhibiting at this conference so do come and visit our booth to speak to the MWR team.

Event Description

The Annual CIFI Security Summit takes place all over the world, Asia, Europe, Australia & North America. These summits are essential 2 day conferences and exhibitions bringing together leading security experts from around the globe to discuss Cyber Intelligence, Digital forensics, Cyber Security and Cyber Investigations. This is the only event of its kind that will run 4 simultaneous streams over 2 days in addition to case studies, demonstrations from global business leaders and a 30+ Exhibition.

Talk presented by MWR

  • Time: 11:25:00
  • Room: Studios 2 and 3
  • Topic: Attack / Adversary Simulation
  • Speakers: Dave Hartley
  • Description: The speaker will discuss his experiences delivering Adversarial Simulations,
designed to mimic the Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP’s) of adaptive threat actors. This presentation will provide valuable insights into Intelligenceled Cyber Attack Simulation Testing (iCAST). iCAST forms part of the recent HKMA Cybersecurity Fortification Initiative. Dave will draw on his experiences and knowledge of similar international initiatives such as the Bank of England CBEST scheme, which inspired several international derivatives as well as iCAST. Dave will also discuss the relationship with the CREST Simulated Targeted Attack and Response (STAR) framework. STAR is a controlled bespoke, intelligence-led cyber security testing service developed by CREST.

The audience should leave this presentation with a greater understanding of
the purpose of Attack Simulations, their relevance to HKMA iCAST as well as
how maximum value can be derived from such intelligent led penetration
    testing approaches.

    Key Takeaways:
    ▪ Understand iCAST and intelligence led penetration testing
    ▪ What to expect from iCAST
    ▪ How to maximize the value from iCAST
