Malware Analysis

Responding to detected or potential malware infections can be made more problematic when an infection is unknown or was created to specifically target your organisation. MWR InfoSecurity‘s Malware Analysis consists of a series of phases that allow the analyst the highest chance of detecting any malware on the target systems. Typically, we would analyse high profile targets (such as executive laptops or images of critical servers) and any known or suspected malware samples. We have a track record of quickly and effectively identifying the presence (and extent) of malware infections.

Malware is constantly evolving and so we maximise the possibility of detecting it by using multiple engines and multiple stages of analysis. We have created a custom sandbox environment that allows malicious code and other software to be safely executed and analysed. This environment contains a number of operating systems with various patching levels to ensure that the full extent of malware behaviour can be identified.

MWR InfoSecurity also have a number of skilled reverse engineers who can identify malware that may have been specifically designed to be stealthy or to target your organisation directly.
