CHECK Team Leader numbers grow at MWR InfoSecurity
Following the successful submission of candidates for the Check team leader assault course, MWR InfoSecurity has increased the number of Check Team Leaders within their testing team. The CHECK Service Assault Course (CSAC) is run by CESG and is designed to assess IT security consultants against a baseline of practical penetration testing skills. The aim of the Assault Course is to ensure the candidate can perform and complete a thorough technical IT Health Check within the set criteria.
The IT Health Check Service, or CHECK, was developed to enhance the availability and quality of the IT health check services that are provided to government in line with HMG policy. Companies belonging to CHECK are measured against high standards set by CESG. To qualify for CHECK Green status, companies offering security testing must have at least one Team Leader who has passed the CHECK Service Assault Course.
