Ian Shaw – Managing Director Ian has been involved in the Information Security industry for over a decade, Having previously held the role of Technical Director at MWR Ian has a full understanding of the Information Security challenges facing organisations. Prior to setting up MWR InfoSecurity, he was the Managing Director of MacKenzie Ward Research, where he was a member of the board from 1998 to 2003. Ian has worked to grow the Technical Team and more recently focused his attention on developing the Governance, Risk and Compliance consulting capabilities at MWR. He has led the drive to develop end to end services ensuring the value of highly technical consulting can be realised by the company‘s clients. Ian has driven MWR‘s involvement with CREST since the organisations‘ foundation and is a firm believer that security should be an enabler for businesses. Ian actively works to build confidence in the Information Security industry and improve professionalism. A strong believer in people-centric organisations, Ian has led many of the initiatives within MWR to grow employee‘s capabilities and has committed the company to a strategy of long term investment in its people. |
