Alex Fidgen – Commercial Director Alex has worked in Information Security since 2000 with a strong Infrastructure background and a primary focus around enterprise level security. Alex‘s main drive within the company is to continue to identify and challenge the traditional ideas concerning how the security industry should be providing its services, and then to suggest and develop more effective alternatives. A core belief that continues to contribute to this ethos is that not enough attention is given to the management of the information outputted by security services, and that mapping this information to the profit (or loss) of the organisation will consistently help break down the communication barriers that can sometimes exist between the most senior level of hierarchy and the middle tier of operational managers. Finally, Alex works with a number of client CIO‘s to help improve and translate some of the more technical security output into a meaningful business format for risk analysis at board level. |
